Schools colleges holidays: The government has declared June 7 as an official public holiday throughout the country and June 8 is Sunday so 2 days continues public holidays for school, colleges, bank and all government office.

This move is set to observe a significant cultural event that aims to bring communities together in celebration and reflection. As a result, all schools and offices will remain closed, allowing families to spend valuable time together and participate in community activities.

Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) state general secretary PMA Salam said the decision to grant a holiday to educational institutions on Friday came after strong public opposition.
