Virat Anushka flying to London, fans demand to arrest both
Virat Anushka: A stampede broke out at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on June 4, 2025, after Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won an IPL 2025 match. 11 people were killed and over 30 injured in the stampede.
This stampede is said to be more deadly than the stampede that occurred during the release of Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2’. Both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma shared a post for us all, for all the lives lost in the stampede, sharing RCB’s official statement, “We are deeply saddened by the unfortunate events…” they said.

ANI released a clip on X with the caption, “#WATCH | Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma arrive in Mumbai from Bengaluru.” Indian cricketer Virat Kohli wore a white shirt and blue jeans with beige cap as he was spotted at Mumbai airport along with Anushka Sharma, donning a black tees and jeans.
A user who saw Anushka and Virat leaving for London said, “I remember when a woman died during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s movie and they dragged her to the police station! Here, unfortunately the number is very high.” ” Another angry user tweeted, “All this was done because this guy wanted to fly back london , shame at the peak! Should be arrested for insisting stampede.” Another urged, “Arrest them ASAP!”
Amid the stampede, Virat Kohli shared an official statement from RCB on his Instagram. It said, “We are deeply anguished by the unfortunate incidents that have come to light through media reports regarding public gatherings all over Bengaluru in anticipation of the team’s arrival this afternoon. The safety and well-being of everyone is of utmost importance to us.” Virat said, “At a loss for words. Absolutely gutted .”
