Karnataka CM change after Belagavi Session?

Karnataka CM Change: The power-sharing battle in the Karnataka Congress has reached an exciting stage. During the Belagavi session, the party seems to have clearly divided into the CM Siddaramaiah faction and the DCM DK Shivakumar faction.

The ‘breakfast meeting’ held earlier was just an attempt to resolve the confusion at the state level. During the session, the high command leaders tried to portray that there was no confusion. However, as soon as they reached Belagavi, everything returned to the old status quo.

Both Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar have organized separate dinner meetings to showcase the number of their supporters. Sources have revealed that during the dinner, DK Shivakumar told his close friends that he has the support of more than 100 MLAs.

The DCM has given this assurance to the MLAs who attended the dinner. It is said that many ministers and MLAs have expressed their support for DK Shivakumar to retain his ministerial position and in the future. DK Shivakumar is trying to convey his support to the high command leaders who are monitoring the state politics.

DK Shivakumar plans to present the number of MLAs with him at the high command leaders’ meeting to be held in Delhi on December 20 and 21. For this, DK Shivakumar has reportedly sent a message that he has more than 100 MLAs with him.

Former minister and expelled BJP MLA S.T. Somashekar has reacted to the political developments taking place during the winter session. There was no political discussion at the dinner party held with D.K. Shivakumar’s close associates.

He dismissed speculation that there was a numbers game going on for the Chief Minister’s post, saying that the high command’s decision is final and gave Yediyurappa’s change as an example. D.K. Shivakumar has worked for the Congress party as an MLA eight times and as a minister in many departments. Therefore, he said that he should also get a chance.
