ICC World Cup 2025: Smriti Mandhana smashed a spectacular century against New Zealand in Match 24 of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.
She shared a record-breaking 212-run opening stand with Pratika Rawal (who also scored a century, 122 runs), the highest opening partnership for India in Women’s World Cup history.
This was her 14th ODI century and her third in a Women’s World Cup, equaling Harmanpreet Kaur’s record for an Indian player. It was also her fifth ODI century in the 2025 calendar year, equaling a world record.
