India vs Zimbabwe T20I Series: Sanju Samson Out

One of the biggest talking points is the omission of senior wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson. In his place, Prabhsimran Singh has earned a maiden call-up to the Indian T20I squad.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe. Shreyas Iyer has been named captain, while Tilak Varma will serve as the vice-captain.

One of the biggest talking points is the omission of senior wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson. In his place, Prabhsimran Singh has earned a maiden call-up to the Indian T20I squad.

Three Players Receive Maiden India Call-Ups:

Young batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who recently became one of the youngest players to make his international debut, has retained his place in the squad for the Zimbabwe tour. Meanwhile, three promising performers from domestic cricket and the IPL have received their first-ever call-ups to the Indian T20I team.

Explosive Punjab Kings wicketkeeper-batter Prabhsimran Singh, along with fast bowlers Yash Thakur and Ashok Sharma, have been rewarded for their consistent performances and are set to don the Indian jersey for the first time.

Express pacer Mayank Yadav, who has been sidelined for an extended period due to injury, makes a welcome return to the national side. Known for consistently bowling at speeds exceeding 150 km/h, Mayank adds significant firepower to India’s pace attack.

Hard-hitting finisher Rinku Singh also returns to the squad after missing recent assignments. Joining them is all-rounder Harsh Dubey, who impressed with his performances for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL.
