ICC Women’s World Cup 2025: As expected, Pakistan team has been eliminated from the Women’s ODI World Cup cricket tournament, and the semi-final and final match will be held in India. Pakistan women’s cricket team has been eliminated from the ongoing Women’s ODI World Cup in India. Out of the 6 matches it has played, Pakistan team has lost 4 matches.

Two more matches were canceled due to rain, as a result of which Pakistan has only got 2 points. Thus, Pakistan team is out of the Women’s ODI World Cup semi-final race. Pakistan team suffered a humiliating defeat in the match against South Africa on Monday. This match was limited to 40 overs each due to rain.

Batting first, South Africa women’s team scored 312 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 40 overs with the help of captain Laura Wolvaard (90 runs), Suneluse (61 runs), Marijanne Kapp (68 runs) and Nadine de Klerk (41 runs).

In response, when Pakistan came to bat, the game was interrupted by rain again. Thus, Pakistan was given a target of 234 runs to win in 20 overs. Chasing this huge target, Pakistan could only score 83 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Thus, they suffered a humiliating defeat by a margin of 150 runs.

With this defeat, Pakistan also exited the Women’s ODI World Cup tournament. Pakistan played 6 matches in the tournament and lost 4. 2 matches were abandoned due to rain and points were shared. Pakistan, who have only 2 points, are out of the tournament.

Earlier, Bangladesh, who lost to Sri Lanka, were also out of the tournament. Bangladesh has lost 5 and won 1 out of 6 matches. Australia, England and South Africa have already advanced to the semi-finals. New Zealand, Sri Lanka and India are the main contenders for the final spot.
