Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE India Launch Timeline Leaked Ahead of Debut
Vivo is gearing up to introduce its flagship and mid premium smartphones in India with powerful hardware advanced cameras and large batteries expected to attract strong attention in May

Vivo is preparing to expand its premium smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming launch of the Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE. According to recent leaks, both devices are likely to arrive in early May, with sales expected to begin shortly after their official announcement.
Industry sources suggest that Vivo may unveil the smartphones around May 7, giving buyers a fresh set of flagship and upper mid range options. If timelines hold, the devices could go on sale from May 14, marking a quick turnaround between launch and availability. The X300 Ultra has already debuted in China, while the X300 FE has been introduced in select international markets, indicating that the India launch is part of a broader global rollout.
The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to lead the lineup with top tier specifications. It is tipped to feature a large 6.82 inch LTPO OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, designed for smooth visuals and immersive viewing. Powering the device could be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with high capacity RAM and storage options, making it suitable for heavy multitasking and performance intensive tasks.
Battery performance is another area where the Ultra variant stands out. Reports indicate a 7000 mAh battery with support for both fast wired and wireless charging. This combination is expected to deliver long usage hours along with quick top ups, addressing one of the most important concerns for modern smartphone users.
Camera capabilities appear to be a major highlight. The Vivo X300 Ultra is likely to feature an advanced triple camera setup, including a high resolution primary sensor and a powerful periscope telephoto lens aimed at delivering superior zoom performance. A high quality front camera is also expected, making the device suitable for both photography enthusiasts and content creators.
On the software side, the smartphone is expected to run on Android 16 based OriginOS, offering a modern and optimized user experience. Additional features such as an in display fingerprint sensor and multiple connectivity options are also likely to be part of the package.
Meanwhile, the Vivo X300 FE is expected to cater to users looking for a more affordable option without compromising too much on features. While detailed specifications are still emerging, the device is expected to offer a balanced mix of performance, design and battery life. Color options for the Indian market may include multiple finishes, giving buyers more choice.
Pricing for the Indian market has not yet been officially confirmed, but global pricing hints suggest that the Ultra variant will sit firmly in the premium segment. The FE model, on the other hand, is likely to target buyers looking for value within a slightly lower price range.
With both models bringing distinct strengths, Vivo appears to be aiming at a wide audience. The final verdict will depend on pricing and real world performance, but early leaks indicate that the X300 series could make a strong impact once it arrives in India.
