IMD Issued heavy rainfall: The monsoon season continues in many states of North-East India. The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain for some states. The Southwest Monsoon has now reached many states.
This time, many states, including Mumbai, have received record pre-monsoon rainfall. The month of June has started from today, that is, Sunday. Rains have caused immense damage in the northeastern states of the country. Due to heavy rains, flood-like conditions have arisen at many places.

At the same time, rains and thunderstorms have been occurring in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bihar, Rajasthan and South India for the past few days. According to the India Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected in the northeastern states and sub-Himalayan West Bengal today, i.e. on June 1.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with strong winds and rain in northwest India for the next 3-4 days. Heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Konkan and Goa for the next one or two days.
The India Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy thunderstorms and lightning in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Ghaziabad on June 1 and 2. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 39 °C today. Apart from this, rain is also expected on June 3 and 4.

According to the Meteorological Department report, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the western part of Uttar Pradesh and some areas of eastern Uttar Pradesh on June 1. The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in Uttar Pradesh till June 5.
In the last 24 hours, some states including Meghalaya, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal have received heavy rainfall. Apart from this, heavy rainfall has occurred at various places in Kerala, South Interior Karnataka and Odisha.
Along with this, heavy rainfall occurred at various places in Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema. Rain accompanied by strong winds was recorded at various places in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, East Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Marathwada, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
According to the Meteorological Department, a warning of rain has been issued for most parts of Northeast India in the next one or two days. Meanwhile, heavy rainfall has been forecast at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura today. Heavy rainfall is likely to continue at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. Additionally, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds are likely at some places.
