Gold Rate: The slump in global markets has led investors to turn to safe investments such as gold and silver, leading to a rise in the price of the yellow metal on April 8. Today gold and silver price in India’s major cities.

This comes after ‘Black Monday’ and growing concerns that the United States could trigger a global trade war with its allies. Amid the global trade war, MCX gold prices were at Rs 87,533 per 10 grams early on April 8, up Rs 600 or 0.70 per cent, according to data from Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX).

MCX silver prices rose by 0.89 per cent or Rs 785 to Rs 89,033 per kg. According to Indian Bullion Association (IBA) data at 9.25 am on April 8, the price of 24-carat gold was Rs 87,600 per 10 grams. Moreover, the price of 22 carat gold was Rs 80,300 per 10 grams.

And, meanwhile, the price of silver at 9.25 am on April 8 was Rs 89,350 per kg (silver 999 fine), according to the IBA website. Thus, we will check the gold and silver prices in your city on April 8.
