Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Rise Again, Domestic Users Get Relief
Commercial LPG cylinder prices have increased from June 1, adding to business costs across India. However, domestic LPG users have received relief as household cylinder rates remain unchanged.

Commercial LPG users have been hit with another price increase at the beginning of the month. Oil marketing companies have raised the rates of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders, increasing operational expenses for hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.
In Delhi-NCR, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs.42, taking the revised rate to Rs.3,113.50. In Kolkata, the price has increased by Rs.53.50, pushing the cost to Rs.3,255.50. The price of 5-kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinders has also been raised by Rs.11.
The latest hike comes amid continued concerns over fuel supply disruptions and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Industry observers say these factors have contributed to the steady rise in commercial LPG prices throughout the year.
This marks the seventh increase in commercial LPG cylinder prices in 2026. Over the past few months, businesses dependent on LPG have witnessed a sharp rise in operating costs.
Meanwhile, domestic LPG consumers have received some relief. The price of household cooking gas cylinders remains unchanged across major cities. In Delhi, the domestic LPG cylinder is priced at Rs.913, while rates stand at Rs.939 in Kolkata, Rs.912.50 in Mumbai, Rs.965 in Hyderabad, and Rs.928.50 in Chennai.
The last revision in domestic LPG cylinder prices was announced on March 7, when rates were increased by Rs.60. Since then, prices have remained stable, offering some comfort to middle-class households.
