Indian Railway recruitment drives for 2025:

Posts: Technician Grade-I Signal (183 posts) and Technician Grade-III (6055 posts across various trades). Total 6238 vacancies.

Application Start Date: June 28, 2025

Last Date to Apply: July 28, 2025 (11:59 PM)

Eligibility:

Technician Grade-I Signal: BE/B.Tech/Engineering Diploma/B.Sc Engineering Degree in relevant discipline.

Technician Grade-III: Class 10th with ITI Certificate in a related trade OR Class 10th with PCM subjects.

Age Limit (as on July 1, 2025): 18-33 years for Gr-I Signal; 18-30 years for Gr-III. Age relaxation as per rules.

Application Fee: Rs 500 for General/OBC/EWS (Rs 400 refundable on appearing in CBT); Rs 250 for SC/ST/PH/Female/Transgender/Minorities/EBC (fully refundable on appearing in CBT).

Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT), Document Verification, Medical Examination.

2. Eastern Railway Recruitment 2025 (Level 1 & 2):

Posts: Level 1 and Level 2 (Scouts and Guides Quota). Total 13 vacancies.

Application Window: July 9, 2025 to August 8, 2025.

Selection Process: Single-stage written examination (40 objective questions, 1 essay question).

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025 (Assistant Loco Pilot – CEN No. 01/2025)

Posts: 9970 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies.

Application Dates: April 12, 2025 to May 19, 2025. (Application window is now closed)

Selection Process: CBT 1, CBT 2, Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification, Medical Examination.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 (CEN No. 08/2024 – Level 1 posts)

Posts: Various Level 1 posts (Track Maintainer, Assistant, Pointsman, etc.). Total 32,438 vacancies.

Application Dates: January 23, 2025 to March 1, 2025. (Application window is now closed)

Selection Process: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, Medical Examination.

RRB NTPC 2025 (Non-Technical Popular Categories):

Exams/Answer Key: The CBT 1 for undergraduate (12th pass) posts is scheduled from August 7 to September 8, 2025. The answer key for graduate-level posts was released on July 1, 2025, with objections allowed until July 6, 2025. (Application window for these posts is closed).

RRB JE 2025 (Junior Engineer):

Notification: Expected tentatively in July/September 2025. (No active application window yet).

General Application Process for Indian Railway Recruitment (RRB/RRC):

1. Visit Official Website: Go to the official website of the concerned Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) or Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC). Each railway zone has its own official website (e.g., rrbcdg.gov.in for Chandigarh, rrbranchi.gov.in for Ranchi, rrcer.org for Eastern Railway, etc.).

2. Registration/Create Account:

Look for “New Registration” or “Create an Account.”

Provide basic details like name, date of birth, father’s/mother’s name, Aadhaar Number, mobile number, and email ID.

You will receive a Registration Number and Password.

3. Login: Use your registration credentials to log in.

4. Fill Application Form:

Enter personal, educational, and other required details accurately.

Select your preferred RRB (you can usually apply to only one RRB for a specific CEN).

Indicate post preferences if applicable.

5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and other required documents (e.g., educational certificates, caste certificate) in the specified format and size.

6. Pay Application Fee: Pay the examination fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Some recruitments also offer offline challan payment. Note that a portion of the fee is often refundable upon appearing in the CBT.

7. Review and Submit: Carefully review all the entered information before final submission. Once submitted, some details (especially those filled during account creation) cannot be modified.

8. Print Confirmation Page: Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
