Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025: Indian Coast Guard has released a notification for the recruitment of Sailor and Mechanical posts for the year 2025. A total of 630 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. Interested candidates can apply online till June 25, 2025 by visiting the official website.

Educational Qualification:

The educational qualification for participation in this recruitment drive is set differently according to the posts. If you want to apply for Sailor (General Duty), you must have Physics and Mathematics subjects in class 12th.

At the same time, for Sailor (Domestic Branch), the candidate must have passed at least 10th class. Candidates applying for Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics posts should have passed 10th or 12th standard or a two to four year diploma in the relevant branch (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Telecommunications).

Age limit and relaxation:

The minimum age of the candidate for these posts is 18 years and the maximum age is 21 years. But if you are from a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, you will get a relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age. At the same time, OBC category candidates will get the benefit of 3 years relaxation.

Salary:

If you are selected for these positions, you will also get a good salary. Youths recruited for the post of Sailor (General Duty and Domestic Branch) will receive a salary of Rs 21,700 every month. The candidate selected for the Mechanical post will receive a monthly salary of ₹ 29,200 along with other allowances.
