KMF launches sugar-free Nandini sweets for diabetics ahead of Deepavali
KMF: In a festive treat for diabetics, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has launched a special range of sugar-free Nandini sweets ahead of Deepavali. The new products aim to meet the growing demand for health-conscious festive foods, said KMF Managing Director B. Shivaswamy.
“In today’s health-aware era, consumers are increasingly opting for sugar-free options. Our new line of sweets is designed specifically for diabetics, using healthy ingredients without compromising on taste,” Shivaswamy explained.
Sugar-free sweet prices:
As part of the festive offer, the Nandini Sugar-Free Khova Gulab Jamun (500g) is priced at Rs 220, while the Nandini Pure Peda (Sugar-Free, 200g) and Nandini Jaggery Oats & Seeds Burfi (200g) are priced at Rs 170 each. The KMF noted that these products reflect Nandini’s commitment to quality, purity, and affordability.
During the recent Dasara festival, Nandini sweet sales exceeded 750 metric tonnes, highlighting the brand’s growing popularity and customer trust, KMF added.
Price revision after GST changes:
Following the latest GST restructuring, KMF has revised prices across 21 Nandini dairy products, including ghee, paneer, cheese, ice cream, and chocolates.
After the revision, the price of 1 liter of ghee has been reduced from Rs 650 to Rs 610, unsalted butter (500g) from Rs 305 to Rs 286, and processed cheese block (1kg) from Rs 530 to Rs 497.
With its new sugar-free festive range and price revisions, KMF aims to strengthen its foothold among health-conscious consumers while continuing to be an integral part of Karnataka’s festive celebrations.
