Amazfit Launches Cheetah 2 Series Smartwatches in India With Advanced GPS and Long Battery Life
Amazfit has introduced two premium sports smartwatches in India, offering advanced GPS tracking, rugged construction, marathon focused training tools, and battery life extending up to 30 days.

Amazfit has expanded its premium wearable portfolio in India with the launch of the new Cheetah 2 Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra smartwatches. Designed for serious runners, endurance athletes, and outdoor enthusiasts, the latest additions focus on accurate navigation, detailed fitness tracking, and extended battery performance. The company says both models are built to perform reliably in challenging environments while supporting a wide range of training needs.
The headline feature of the new smartwatch lineup is its advanced positioning technology. Both devices are equipped with sophisticated GPS systems designed to deliver precise route tracking even in difficult conditions. Whether users are running through busy city streets, dense forests, or mountainous terrain, the watches aim to maintain stable and accurate location data throughout workouts.
The Cheetah 2 Ultra takes navigation capabilities a step further. It features dual frequency positioning with support for six satellite systems and a circular polarized antenna that helps improve signal reception in areas where GPS performance is often challenged. The smartwatch can also store full color topographic and contour maps directly on the device, allowing users to access navigation tools even without an internet connection. This makes it particularly useful for trail runners, hikers, and adventure athletes who frequently explore remote locations.
Built with durability in mind, the Cheetah 2 Ultra features sapphire glass protection along with a Grade 5 titanium bezel, frame, and rear cover. The watch includes a large 1.5 inch AMOLED display capable of reaching peak brightness levels of 3000 nits, ensuring excellent visibility under bright sunlight. An advanced dual mode flashlight with white, red, SOS, and boost settings has also been integrated for outdoor safety and convenience.
Battery performance remains one of the strongest selling points of the Ultra model. Amazfit claims the smartwatch can last up to 30 days under typical usage conditions. Even with demanding features such as always on display, continuous heart rate monitoring, active maps, and dual frequency GPS enabled during trail running activities, the watch is rated to provide up to 33 hours of operation.
Meanwhile, the Cheetah 2 Pro is aimed primarily at road runners and athletes preparing for structured endurance events. The smartwatch focuses on a balanced training approach that includes endurance building, strength support, and recovery tracking. Users can access personalized training plans through Zepp Coach, with programs ranging from shorter races to full marathon preparation.
The Pro model features a rugged and scratch resistant design supported by a Grade 5 titanium bottom case. It houses a 1.32 inch AMOLED display engineered for visibility in bright outdoor conditions. A built in dual mode flashlight further enhances usability during early morning or late evening training sessions.
Training support is another major highlight of the Cheetah 2 Pro. The smartwatch offers guidance across multiple fitness areas, including aerobic development, threshold improvement, and strength focused running sessions. Compatibility with popular third party fitness platforms allows athletes to integrate their training data across different ecosystems and maintain a more comprehensive view of their performance.
For runners who rely heavily on location tracking, the Cheetah 2 Pro utilizes a dual band multi satellite GPS system designed to maintain accuracy across varying environments. The watch delivers up to 29 hours of continuous GPS usage, while normal day to day operation can extend battery life to approximately 17 days on a single charge.
Both smartwatches emphasize a combination of premium materials, athlete focused software, and long lasting battery performance. As wearable technology continues to evolve beyond basic fitness tracking, devices such as the Cheetah 2 series are increasingly targeting users who require detailed training insights and dependable navigation tools.
In terms of pricing, the Amazfit Cheetah 2 Pro is available in a titanium finish and is priced at Rs 41,999. The more advanced Cheetah 2 Ultra, which also features a titanium finish paired with a black silicone strap, is priced at Rs 54,999. An optional green nylon strap will be offered separately for users seeking additional customization options.
With their rugged construction, marathon focused training systems, offline mapping capabilities, and impressive battery endurance, the Cheetah 2 Pro and Cheetah 2 Ultra position themselves as strong contenders in India’s growing premium sports smartwatch market.
