There are strong indications from various media reports that the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is likely to be disbursed to farmers on July 18, 2025. While an official announcement from the government is still awaited, speculation is high due to the following reasons:

Prime Minister’s Visit to Bihar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly scheduled to visit Motihari, Bihar, on July 18, 2025. It is a common practice for the Prime Minister to disburse PM Kisan installments during such public events. The 19th installment was also transferred from Bihar (Bhagalpur) on February 24, 2025.

Scheme Cycle: The PM Kisan scheme typically disburses installments every four months. Since the 19th installment was released in February 2025, the 20th installment is due around July.

Important points for farmers to note:

e-KYC is mandatory: To receive the installment, farmers must ensure their e-KYC is completed. This can be done online through the PM-Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in) using OTP-based authentication or at a Common Service Centre (CSC) for biometric authentication.

Bank Account and Aadhaar Linking: Ensure your bank account details are correct, active, and linked with your Aadhaar card for direct benefit transfer.

Farmer Registration: Farmers must have completed their farmer registration process.

How to check your status and beneficiary list:

You can check your PM Kisan beneficiary status and list on the official PM Kisan website: pmkisan.gov.in.

1. To check beneficiary status: Go to ‘Farmers Corner’ and click on ‘Know Your Status’. Enter your registration number, fill in the captcha, and click ‘Get Data’.

2. To view beneficiary list: Go to ‘Farmers Corner’ and click on ‘Beneficiary List’. Select your State, District, Sub-district, Block, and Village, then click on ‘Get Report’.

Farmers are advised to keep an eye on official announcements from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare or the PM Kisan website for the confirmed date.
