Vodafone Idea Launches Vi Edu+ Prepaid Plan With PhysicsWallah to Boost Digital Learning for Students
Vodafone Idea has introduced a new Vi Edu+ prepaid plan in partnership with PhysicsWallah offering unlimited connectivity and access to structured online education content for students across exam categories.

Vodafone Idea has stepped into the education focused telecom space with the launch of its new Vi Edu+ prepaid plan in collaboration with the popular edtech platform PhysicsWallah. The company says this is India’s first edtech integrated telecom plan designed to make digital learning more accessible for students through mobile connectivity.
The new offering combines unlimited calling, data, and messaging with access to PhysicsWallah’s digital learning platform Pi. With this move, Vi aims to support students preparing for academic and competitive exams by bringing structured learning content directly to their smartphones without requiring separate subscriptions or devices.
Interestingly, the Vi Edu+ plan is being positioned as more than just a telecom recharge. It is designed as a complete learning support system where connectivity and education work together. Users purchasing the plan will get access to PW Pi Pro for 28 days along with standard mobile benefits, making it a hybrid package for both communication and learning needs.
The pricing of the Vi Edu+ prepaid plan varies by region. In Rajasthan, it is available for Rs 375, while in the Uttar Pradesh East circle, it is priced at Rs 409. Vodafone Idea has confirmed that both existing and new users can subscribe to the plan, and a wider rollout across other telecom circles will follow gradually.
Under the plan, users receive unlimited 4G and 5G data, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and full access to PW Pi Pro for a 28 day validity period. Students can access the content through the PhysicsWallah app and website, making learning flexible and mobile friendly.
The core idea behind Vi Edu+ is to support students preparing for a wide range of exams including board exams, JEE, NEET, UPSC, defence services, CUET, CSIR NET, GATE, and Olympiad level competitions. The platform focuses on structured learning and self paced study material that students can access anytime through their smartphones.
PW Pi Pro brings a wide library of educational resources to users. It includes more than 30000 video lectures from experienced teachers, along with live and recorded classes. Students also get revision series, handwritten notes, study material, AI powered solutions, quizzes, practice tests, and performance tracking tools. Offline download support is also available, allowing learners to study even without an active internet connection.
The content library is not limited to school level education. It covers curriculum from kindergarten to class 12 and also includes skill based courses in areas such as technology, finance, generative AI, design, and marketing. This makes the platform useful not only for exam preparation but also for skill development and career oriented learning.
Vodafone Idea and PhysicsWallah have designed this integration with the idea of removing barriers to education access. Whether students are in metro cities or smaller towns, the aim is to make quality learning content available through a simple mobile connection.
With the Vi Edu+ plan, the company is trying to position itself beyond traditional telecom services by combining connectivity with education. This approach reflects the growing demand for digital learning solutions in India, where smartphones have become a primary tool for both communication and study.
