Samsung Galaxy M47 5G Set for India Launch With AMOLED Display and Long Term Software Support

Samsung is gearing up to expand its smartphone portfolio in India with the upcoming launch of the Galaxy M47 5G. The new handset is scheduled to debut on June 29 and is expected to target users looking for a feature rich smartphone with long term software support, a premium display, and capable camera performance.

One of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy M47 5G is Samsung’s commitment to longevity. The company has confirmed that the device will receive six years of operating system upgrades along with six years of security updates. This move places the smartphone among the devices designed to offer extended usability and future readiness.

The smartphone will feature a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, providing additional durability against daily wear and tear. The expected device could feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, a 6.7 inch AMOLED display, and a camera setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor. If launched, it would succeed the Galaxy A26 and further strengthen Samsung’s presence in the mid range market.
