Vivo Y31T 5G India Launch Soon With 7200mAh Battery

Vivo is preparing to bring another Y Series smartphone to the Indian market. The Vivo Y31T 5G has appeared on the company’s online store, revealing its key specifications and storage options ahead of the official launch.

Although Vivo has not announced a launch date yet, the listing suggests that the phone could arrive soon. The handset will be offered in Golden Mist, Crimson Red and Seashore finishes.

Big battery is one of its highlights

The Vivo Y31T 5G is expected to stand out mainly for its 7200mAh battery. It will support 44W wired fast charging, which should help reduce the time needed to recharge the large battery.

The phone will also feature a side mounted fingerprint scanner for security. It measures 166.64 by 78.43 by 8.39 mm and weighs around 219 grams.

Snapdragon chip and 120Hz screen

Vivo has equipped the Y31T 5G with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The octa core processor includes two performance cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz and six efficiency cores running at up to 1.95GHz.

On the front, the smartphone will have a 6.75 inch HD Plus LCD display with a resolution of 720 by 1608 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 83 percent NTSC colour gamut and peak brightness of up to 1250 nits.

The handset is expected to run Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 interface.

Camera setup includes 50MP main sensor

Photography will be handled by a dual camera system on the rear. The setup is expected to include a 50 megapixel primary camera with an f2.0 aperture and a 2 megapixel secondary sensor.

For selfies and video calls, Vivo will provide an 8 megapixel front camera.

The Y31T 5G will support common connectivity options including 5G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type C port. The phone is also expected to include an accelerometer, electronic compass, gyroscope and ambient light sensor.

Three storage variants expected

The upcoming Vivo smartphone is expected to be available in three configurations. Buyers could get a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version, along with 6GB RAM models offering either 128GB or 256GB of storage.

Vivo has yet to reveal the Indian price or exact launch date. More details are expected when the company officially announces the Y31T 5G for the market.
