Vivo Raises Prices of Five Y Series Smartphones in India
Vivo has increased prices across five Y Series smartphones in India as rising memory and storage component costs continue to put pressure on device pricing.

Vivo has revised the prices of five smartphones in its Y Series lineup in India. The updated prices are now reflected on the company’s online store, making some of these models considerably more expensive than their original launch prices.
The biggest increase has been recorded for the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G. The price revision comes at a time when smartphone manufacturers are facing higher costs for memory and storage components.
Vivo Y51 Pro 5G gets the biggest increase
The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G has received one of the most noticeable price revisions among the affected models. Its 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version is now priced at Rs 32,999, compared with its earlier launch price of Rs 30,999.
The 8GB and 256GB version now costs Rs 37,999, up from Rs 33,999.
The phone features a 6.75 inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,250 nits of brightness. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor and packs a 7,200mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support.
Vivo Y31 5G also becomes more expensive
The Vivo Y31 5G has seen a price increase across both of its storage options. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is now listed at Rs 27,999, while the 6GB and 256GB version costs Rs 31,999.
The earlier launch prices were Rs 25,999 and Rs 28,999 respectively.
The smartphone comes with a 6.68 inch HD Plus LCD panel supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging and runs on Android 15 with FuntouchOS 15.
Y21 and Y11 prices move higher

Vivo Y19s sees a sharp price revision
The Vivo Y19s has also become more expensive, with its 4GB and 64GB version now listed at Rs 14,999. The 4GB and 128GB model costs Rs 15,999, while the 6GB and 128GB version is priced at Rs 17,499.
The smartphone was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 10,999.
The Y19s features a 6.74 inch HD Plus LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its rear camera setup includes a 13 megapixel primary camera, while a 5 megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
Why are smartphone prices rising
The latest Vivo price revision comes as smartphone manufacturers deal with higher component costs. Memory and NAND storage shortages have emerged as a major concern across the global electronics market.
Vivo is not the only brand responding to the changing cost environment. Other manufacturers, including OnePlus, Oppo and Realme, have also revised prices for some devices in recent months.
For buyers, the latest Vivo price changes mean that checking current prices before purchasing a Y Series phone has become more important, particularly for customers shopping on a fixed budget.
