Vivo V70 Lite 4G Launches With 8100mAh Battery And IP69 Rating

Vivo has expanded its V70 Lite lineup with the new V70 Lite 4G, a smartphone that puts battery endurance at the centre of its specifications. The handset was introduced after the earlier 5G version and comes with a large display, 120Hz refresh rate and a sizeable battery.

The biggest talking point is the 8100mAh battery. Vivo has also included 44W fast charging, giving the phone a combination aimed at people who spend long hours browsing, streaming content or using mobile applications.

Vivo V70 Lite 4G price and availability

The Vivo V70 Lite 4G has initially been introduced in the Eurasian market. Vivo has not yet announced its official price, while details about availability in other markets are also awaited.

The smartphone is listed on the company’s official website and comes in two colour options.

Large AMOLED display

The phone features a 6.83 inch AMOLED screen with a 2800 by 1260 pixel resolution. Its 120Hz refresh rate should make everyday scrolling and supported animations feel smoother.

For security, Vivo has placed an optical fingerprint scanner under the display. The combination of a large screen and AMOLED panel gives the handset a clear focus on media consumption.

Processor and storage

The Vivo V70 Lite 4G is powered by the Unisoc T7300 chipset. It is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, while storage options include 128GB and 256GB using UFS 2.2 technology.

The smartphone runs Android 16 based OriginOS 6 out of the box. This configuration is primarily aimed at everyday tasks, social media, entertainment and regular multitasking.

50MP dual rear camera

Photography is handled by a dual camera setup at the back. The main sensor has a 50MP resolution and is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor designed for portrait photography.

For selfies and video calls, the phone carries a 32MP front facing camera. Vivo has therefore kept the camera setup relatively straightforward while putting more emphasis on battery capacity.

8100mAh battery is the main attraction

The 8100mAh battery is easily the standout feature of the Vivo V70 Lite 4G. Such a large capacity could provide extended usage for people who regularly use their phones throughout the day.

Vivo has added 44W fast charging to help replenish the battery. Actual battery life will naturally vary depending on network conditions, display settings, applications and usage patterns.

IP69 protection

The Vivo V70 Lite 4G also comes with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. This adds another layer of protection for everyday use and complements the phone’s focus on durability.
