Vivo T5 5G Launches In India With 7050mAh Battery And 144Hz 3D Display
Vivo T5 5G brings 7050mAh battery, 144Hz 3D curved AMOLED display, AI features, IP69 protection, Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and 32MP selfie camera to Indian buyers at prices below ₹35,000.

Vivo has expanded its T series in India with the launch of the new Vivo T5 5G. The smartphone arrives with a combination of a large battery, curved AMOLED display, capable processor and several AI based features. With the starting price set below ₹35,000, the phone is positioned for buyers looking for a feature rich device without moving into the premium price segment.
One of the biggest talking points is the 7050mAh battery. Vivo claims that the battery can support around 22 hours of video streaming on a single charge. The phone also supports 44W wired fast charging, which should make it easier to recharge the large battery during everyday use.
Despite carrying such a high capacity battery, Vivo has kept the device relatively slim. The Vivo T5 5G measures just 7.99mm in thickness and weighs around 199 grams. This is likely to appeal to users who want longer battery life without carrying an especially bulky smartphone.
The display is another major highlight of the new model. Vivo has equipped the phone with a 6.83 inch 1.5K 3D curved AMOLED screen. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, making scrolling, animations and supported games appear smoother. The curved design also gives the handset a more premium appearance.
For performance, the Vivo T5 5G uses the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor. The chipset is paired with the MediaTek NPU 850, which is designed to handle AI related workloads. Vivo is also promoting AI features as part of the overall smartphone experience, adding more software focused functionality to the hardware package.
The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization. An 8MP ultra wide camera sits alongside the main sensor, giving users another option for wider scenes and group photographs. On the front, the smartphone gets a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. The device also supports 4K video recording.
Durability is another area where Vivo has given the phone attention. The Vivo T5 5G carries IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust and water under supported testing conditions. This gives the device an added advantage for users who want a phone designed to handle everyday exposure to challenging environments.
On the software side, the smartphone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo has promised three operating system upgrades along with five years of security updates. This commitment could make the phone more attractive to buyers who plan to keep their device for several years rather than replacing it frequently.
Connectivity options include 5G and 4G LTE, Wi Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type C port. The phone also supports GPS and NavIC along with other navigation systems. These features make it suitable for regular communication, streaming, navigation and other daily smartphone activities.
Vivo has launched the T5 5G in four configurations. The base version with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs ₹34,999. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at ₹39,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant costs ₹44,999. The top version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at ₹49,999.
The smartphone will be available in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options. Customers using eligible Axis Bank, SBI or HDFC Bank cards can receive an instant discount of up to ₹4,000 under the announced bank offers.
Sales of the Vivo T5 5G in India will begin on September 9, 2026. Buyers will be able to purchase the smartphone through Flipkart and Vivo’s online store. With its large battery, high refresh rate curved display, MediaTek processor, upgraded cameras and durability ratings, Vivo is clearly targeting consumers who want a balanced package rather than a phone focused on just one specification.
