The newly launched Philips 24B2N2200G Monitor comes with a 23.8 inch screen and brings a strong mix of gaming oriented features and everyday usability at an accessible price point.
The monitor is already available in the Chinese market and is listed at around 649 yuan which is approximately 8800 rupees. Buyers can purchase it through JD.com, making it one of the more affordable high refresh rate displays in its segment.
At the core of the device is a 1080p IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. It offers a 144Hz refresh rate which is designed to deliver smoother visuals, especially for fast paced gaming and scrolling. The display also supports a 4ms gray to gray response time, helping reduce motion blur during action scenes.
Color performance is another highlight of the monitor. It covers 111 percent of the sRGB spectrum and 101 percent of NTSC color gamut, offering vibrant and accurate visuals. With 8 bit color depth and support for 16.7 million colors, the display aims to balance clarity and color richness for both work and entertainment tasks.
In terms of design and viewing experience, the monitor features a 16:9 aspect ratio along with a contrast ratio of 1500 to 1. It delivers 350 nits of brightness and a pixel density of 93 PPI, making it suitable for everyday productivity as well as casual media consumption. Features like low blue light mode and EasyRead mode further enhance comfort during long usage sessions.
Connectivity options are also well covered. The monitor includes HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and VGA inputs, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices. It also comes equipped with dual 2 watt stereo speakers, adding basic audio output without requiring external speakers.
Philips has positioned this model as a versatile option for both office users and casual gamers. With its high refresh rate panel and wide color support, it aims to deliver a premium like experience in the budget category. The inclusion of VESA wall mounting support also gives users flexibility in setup, making it suitable for compact desks or multi monitor arrangements.
With this launch, Philips is clearly targeting users who want a smooth and colorful display experience without entering the premium pricing bracket, strengthening its presence in the competitive budget monitor segment.
