Nothing Phone 4a Series Gets Major Price Hike in India

Nothing has increased the prices of Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro in India with buyers now paying up to Rs 5000 more across all variants.

Smartphone buyers planning to purchase the Nothing Phone 4a series in India may now need to stretch their budgets. The company has quietly revised the pricing of both the Nothing Phone 4a and the premium Phone 4a Pro, making the devices significantly more expensive than before. The increase affects every storage and RAM variant across the lineup.

The biggest jump has been seen in the Nothing Phone 4a Pro range. All variants of the premium smartphone have received a price increase of Rs 5000. The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which was previously available for Rs 44999, now carries a price tag of Rs 49999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version has moved from Rs 47999 to Rs 52999, while the top end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is now priced at Rs 55999 instead of Rs 50999.

The standard Nothing Phone 4a has also become costlier. Buyers looking at this model will now have to pay Rs 3000 more across all variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version has gone up from Rs 34999 to Rs 37999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model now costs Rs 40999, compared to its earlier price of Rs 37999. Similarly, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant has increased from Rs 40999 to Rs 43999.

The revised pricing comes without any major hardware changes or new announcements from the company. As a result, many consumers who were waiting for festive offers or discounts may find the updated prices surprising. Industry observers believe such revisions could be linked to supply chain costs, component pricing, or market positioning strategies.

Despite the higher price tag, the Nothing Phone 4a continues to offer a feature rich package aimed at users seeking a balanced smartphone experience. It features a 6.77 inch FHD Plus AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness levels for better outdoor visibility. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, designed to handle daily tasks, multitasking, and gaming efficiently.

For photography enthusiasts, the Phone 4a includes a 50 megapixel primary camera paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide sensor. On the front, users get a 32 megapixel selfie camera for video calls and social media content. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery and supports 50W fast charging, helping users stay connected throughout the day.

The Nothing Phone 4a Pro remains the flagship option in the series and brings several upgrades over the standard model. It sports the same 6.77 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but its camera setup is one of its strongest selling points. The rear system includes a 50 megapixel primary sensor, a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera. For selfies, the device offers a high resolution 50 megapixel front camera.

The Pro variant is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and is available with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Additional highlights include the signature Glyph Interface, IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, a 5000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support, and Nothing OS, which delivers a clean and near stock Android experience.

With the latest revision, the Nothing Phone 4a series enters a higher price bracket, potentially influencing buying decisions in a highly competitive smartphone market. Consumers considering either device may now compare them more closely with rival models offering similar specifications in the same segment.
