itel Aqua Arrives in India With IP67 Protection at an Affordable Price

itel Aqua brings IP67 protection, AI noise cancellation, Type C charging, long battery life and regional language support, making it a practical feature phone for everyday users.

itel has expanded its presence in the Indian feature phone market with the launch of the new itel Aqua under the company’s Inno Series lineup. Designed for users who prioritize durability and reliable communication, the device enters the market with a price tag of just Rs 1799 while offering features that are rarely seen in this category.

One of the standout highlights of the itel Aqua is its IP67 rating. According to the company, the phone has been engineered to withstand exposure to water, dust, moisture, and challenging outdoor conditions. itel claims the device can tolerate being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes, making it a strong option for users who work or travel in environments where accidental water exposure is common.

The company revealed that an internal survey showed water damage as one of the leading reasons people replace feature phones. Nearly 42 percent of replacements were reportedly linked to water related issues. Keeping this in mind, itel developed the Aqua with enhanced protection to improve durability and extend the lifespan of the device.

Apart from its rugged design, the phone also focuses on improving call quality. The device comes equipped with AI Environmental Noise Cancellation technology, which is designed to reduce background disturbances during voice calls. Whether users are in busy markets, factories, construction zones, or heavy traffic areas, the feature aims to make conversations clearer and easier to understand.

The itel Aqua sports a 2.4 inch display and is powered by a 1200mAh battery. Another notable addition is the USB Type C charging port, a feature that remains uncommon in the budget feature phone segment. This modern charging solution offers greater convenience and compatibility with newer charging accessories.

Accessibility has also been given importance in the new device. The built in King Voice feature can provide voice guidance for menus, messages, and call related functions in both Hindi and English. Additionally, support for ten regional languages makes the phone more accessible to users across different parts of the country.

For entertainment and connectivity, the phone includes wireless FM radio, FM recording functionality, Bluetooth support, and automatic call recording. Users can also expand storage up to 32GB, allowing them to store more audio files and personal data. The phonebook can accommodate up to 1000 contacts, making it suitable for users who need extensive contact storage.

itel Aqua will be available in Blue, Red, and Black color options through retail stores across India. With its combination of water resistance, AI powered calling enhancements, Type C charging, and multilingual support, the device aims to deliver a dependable feature phone experience without stretching the budget.

As feature phones continue to serve millions of users across the country, especially in areas where simplicity and durability matter most, the launch of the itel Aqua highlights how manufacturers are bringing premium practical features to the entry level segment. The new model offers a balanced mix of affordability, toughness, and convenience for everyday communication needs.
