iQOO is preparing to strengthen its presence in the affordable smartphone segment with the launch of the iQOO Z11 Lite in India. The company has officially confirmed that the new handset will arrive on July 24 and will be priced below Rs 20000, making it an attractive option for students and budget conscious buyers looking for a feature packed 5G smartphone.
Ahead of its launch, the smartphone has appeared on Amazon through a dedicated microsite, revealing several key specifications. iQOO describes the Z11 Lite as a value focused device that combines long battery life, dependable performance and modern software features in an affordable package.
One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming smartphone is its massive 6500mAh battery. According to the company, the battery is capable of delivering around 20 hours of social media browsing or nearly 80 hours of music playback on a single charge. The large battery is expected to appeal to users who spend long hours on entertainment, online classes or daily communication without frequent charging.
Charging speeds have also received attention. The iQOO Z11 Lite supports 44W wired fast charging, allowing users to quickly top up the battery when needed. The company claims that just 10 minutes of charging can provide enough power for approximately eight hours of voice calls or about 7.2 hours of video playback, making it useful for people with busy schedules.
Performance will be handled by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. iQOO says the chipset has achieved more than 579000 points on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform, suggesting capable everyday performance for multitasking, gaming and media consumption. The smartphone is expected to target users seeking reliable speed without stepping into the premium price segment.
The display is also expected to deliver a smooth viewing experience. It will support a 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and animations while offering peak brightness of up to 1200 nits for improved outdoor visibility. These features should make the device suitable for watching videos, browsing social media and gaming.
For photography, the iQOO Z11 Lite will feature a dual rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel Sony primary sensor. While the company has not revealed details of the secondary camera, the main sensor is expected to deliver sharp images and dependable performance in different lighting conditions.
On the software side, the smartphone will run Android 16 based OriginOS 6. iQOO has also promised two years of operating system upgrades along with four years of security updates, providing users with longer software support and improved device security over time.
The handset will be available in two color options named Solar Flame and Midnight Blue. These finishes are expected to give the smartphone a modern appearance while appealing to different style preferences.
Alongside the Z11 Lite, iQOO is also expected to introduce the standard iQOO Z11 in India in the near future. The global version of the Z11 has already been launched, although the Indian variant may feature different hardware. The Chinese model uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the Malaysian version is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor.
With a competitive price, large battery, fast charging support, smooth display, capable processor and extended software updates, the iQOO Z11 Lite is shaping up to be a strong contender in the sub Rs 20000 smartphone category. More information, including complete specifications and availability details, will be revealed during its official launch on July 24.
