Champions Trophy 2025: India top, Pakistan bottom in Points Table
Champions Trophy 2025: Rohit Sharma-led India suffered a clean sweep against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. After this victory India in top and Pakistan in bottom of the Champions Trophy 2025 points table.
Pakistan, who won the toss and elected to bat first, lost a few early wickets early on and Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel helped stabilize the innings in the middle, with frequent wickets after their dismissals keeping the hosts from settling.

The men in green were eventually bowled out for 242 after India chased them with relative ease thanks to Virat Kohli’s brilliant century.
ICC Champions Trophy Group A points table:
After the high-voltage clash, there have been a lot of changes in the Champions Trophy points table, especially in Group A. With both India and Pakistan having played two matches, we have a good idea of where the two teams are headed, with the defending champions facing early elimination and the Men in Blue eyeing a semi-final berth.

India currently top the Group A points table with 2 wins from as many matches and a net run rate of 0.647. New Zealand is second with a net run rate of 1.200 after winning their only match against Pakistan. Meanwhile, Bangladesh and Pakistan are yet to register a win in the tournament and are third and fourth in the Champions Trophy points table.

Pakistan no longer controls the destiny of the Champions Trophy, especially after losing to India. The Men in Green will now have to rely on the results of other teams to secure a place in the semi-finals. With just two matches played so far, the Group B points table looks relatively untidy, with South Africa topping the pack with a net run rate of 2.140 and Australia second with a net run rate of 0.475.
England and Afghanistan are placed 3rd and 4th respectively but both teams still have a chance to qualify for the semi-final stage.
