The ‘Cockroach Janta Party’ (CJP) is currently making waves across social media, capturing the attention of the younger generation with its unique and humorous content. Carrying the tagline “The mask of politics, by the youth for the youth,” this trending page has scripted a new record by amassing a staggering 14.8 million (1.48 crore) followers globally.
However, a graphical video detailing the country-wise distribution of these millions of followers has now gone viral, sparking intense curiosity and debate online.
Highest Followers from Pakistan!
According to the viral report, a lion’s share—a whopping 49%—of the total follower base of this page belongs to Pakistan! This surprising statistic has raised the eyebrows of netizens across the internet.
The breakdown of followers from other countries is as follows:
United States (USA): 14%
Bangladesh: 14%
India: 9%
United Kingdom (UK): 3%
Australia: 3%
Saudi Arabia: 3%
United Arab Emirates (UAE): 2%
The Turkey Connection!
According to recent global statistical breakdown reports, netizens have flagged that millions of followers from Turkey, another Islamic nation, are also abruptly joining the page alongside Pakistan (49%) and Bangladesh (14%).
Suspicion is now mounting that foreign ‘Bots’ and paid accounts are being deployed behind this digital movement—which originally started by capitalizing on the anger of Indian youth over unemployment and ‘NEET’ exam irregularities—to destabilize India’s internal political system.
Not Just a Trend, a Pre-planned Sketch?:
IT experts and analysts allege that this satirical movement led by Abhijeet Dipke is attempting to fuel widespread unrest in India’s digital space. Netizens on X (formerly Twitter) are venting their anger, stating: “The youth are being lured through Instagram reels using patriotic hashtags like ‘Youth India’ and ‘Bharat.’ However, the majority of the likes and followers driving this are coming from Pakistan and Turkey, pointing towards a Global Cyber Conspiracy.”
Links to Congress, AAP, and SDPI?
On the flip side, social media users are alleging the involvement of certain major Indian political parties behind this entire digital trend. Many commented that supporters of India’s Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and SDPI have joined forces with foreign accounts from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Turkey to promote the Cockroach Janta Party and malign the country’s image.
While there is currently no independent or official verification available publicly regarding these allegations and viral statistics, the report has triggered a massive storm on the internet.
