CM Change Decision Final with High Command: Parameshwara”

Bengaluru: “The party high command’s decision is final regarding the CM change. The CLP meeting will be convened at an appropriate time,” said Home Minister G Parameshwara.

Speaking to reporters in Sadashivanagar, Parameshwara said, “When the high command calls for a CLP meeting, our MLAs’ opinions will be taken. The observers will submit a report to the high command, and then the decision will be announced. This is our party’s procedure. We can’t shortcut it.”

On Satish Jarkiholi’s reported comments, Parameshwara said, “Yatindra Siddaramaiah’s comments were based on ideology. What’s wrong with mentioning Satish’s name? He was part of the Ahinda movement and has commitment to it. He’s not wrong in saying that.”

Regarding the gangrape case in the city’s outskirts, Parameshwara assured, “Four accused have been arrested, and two are still being hunted. Action will be taken as per the law.”

On allegations of betting in a kabaddi match, Parameshwara denied, “It was a junior college-level match with a prize. I was invited, and I attended. The DC, SP, and CEO were there. We were just discussing the match, and I don’t have the brains to engage in betting. I’m a sportsman, and I’m aware of the law.”

On the RSS prabhat pheri in Chittapur, Parameshwara said, “We’ve issued a circular asking organizations to seek permission. The local administration will decide. The order applies to all, and we’re just ensuring no conflict occurs.”
