Gold Price huge increase: Today price reached nearly Rs 1 lakh in India
Gold Price huge increase: The price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs 10 in early trade on Friday, reaching Rs 93,390 per ten grams, according to the GoodReturns website. Silver prices fell by Rs 100 and were sold at Rs 1,02,900 per kilogram.
The price of 22-carat gold rose by Rs 10, with ten grams of the yellow metal being sold for Rs 85,610. The price of ten grams of 24-carat gold in Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai is Rs 93,390. In Delhi, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold stood at Rs 93,540.
In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold is similar to Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad, at Rs 85,610. The price of ten grams of 22-carat gold in Delhi was Rs 85,760. The price of one kilogram of silver in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai is around Rs 1,02,900.
The price of one kilogram of silver in Chennai was Rs 1,11,900. US gold prices held steady on Friday, posting a fifth straight weekly gain, as fears of a global trade war sparked by US President Donald Trump’s retaliatory tariffs boosted demand for the safe haven metal.

Investors were awaiting the release of US non-farm payrolls data. Spot gold was at $3,109.95 an ounce by 0033 GMT. US gold futures were up 0.3 percent at $3,129.60. In earlier trading, gold fell more than 2 percent due to a widespread market sell-off caused by Trump’s import tariffs, which weighed on silver traders.
