Delhi Car Blast: Rajnath Singh issued a strong warning

Delhi Car Blast: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a strong warning following a recent deadly car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort. He often quoted as: “Those responsible for this tragedy will be brought to justice and will not be spared under any circumstances.”

This warning came shortly after investigators reportedly identified a suspect, Dr. Umar Un Nabi from Pulwama, as the likely driver of the car that detonated.

He assured citizens that top investigative agencies are conducting a “swift and thorough inquiry.” Rajnath Singh firmly stated that those responsible would face strict action and would “not be spared.”

He described the incident as “extremely painful and disturbing” and offered his sincerest condolences to the families who lost loved ones. The blast, which is now being treated as a terror attack, has a rising death toll and involves an investigation into a potential “white collar terror ecosystem” with links to an earlier explosives seizure in Faridabad.

Key Suspect Identified and Terror Links Confirmed:

The prime suspect has been identified as Dr. Umar Mohammad (also referred to as Dr. Umar Un Nabi), a doctor from Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. Investigators have confirmed that the incident is officially being treated as a terror attack and has been linked to a “white-collar terror ecosystem” and a recently uncovered Faridabad terror module.

The Delhi blast is allegedly connected to a major seizure of explosives (reportedly 2,900 kg of Ammonium Nitrate) and arms in Faridabad and Saharanpur. The blast occurred in a white Hyundai i20 car. CCTV footage reportedly tracked the car’s movement from the Badarpur toll booth (via Faridabad) to the blast site.

Police sources suggest that Dr. Umar Mohammad, who owned the car, may have panicked and triggered the blast after two of his key accomplices, Dr. Muzammil Shakeel and Dr. Adeel Rather, were arrested and the explosives cache was seized. Investigators are probing the possibility of a suicide bombing.
