Covid-19 cases rise in Karnataka: With 35 active Covid-19 cases reported across Karnataka this year, 32 of them in Bengaluru, the state government has urged citizens to proactively follow Covid-19 appropriate Behavior (CAB) even as officials say the situation is under control.
In an official advisory issued on Friday, the government noted that there has been a gradual increase in Covid-19 cases over the past 20 days, which has called for preventive measures, especially among vulnerable sections of the population.

“While no Covid-related deaths were reported in 2025, a cautious approach is necessary to prevent further spread,” the advisory body said. Pregnant women, children, those suffering from other illnesses, and those with weakened immune systems are specifically advised to wear masks in crowded areas.
The public has been encouraged to maintain hand hygiene and use hand sanitizers regularly. Furthermore, individuals showing symptoms of severe acute respiratory illness (SARI) are urged to immediately undergo a Covid-19 test to ensure timely treatment and prevent a potential outbreak.

There has been a rise in Covid cases in Karnataka, with 35 cases confirmed so far.The government urges the public, especially vulnerable groups, to wear masks in crowded areas and maintain COVID-appropriate behavior. Increased testing is recommended to curb further spread.
