Banks have a row of holidays in the month of October 2023. But some holiday is not applicable in all states. Banks will be closed for 10 days in Karnataka.
Bank Holidays October 2023: October is a month that has a lot of festivals. It is natural to wonder how many days are bank holidays. According to the bank holiday list already published by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), there are 11 days of bank holidays in the month of October.

October 24 – Dussehra/Durga Puja (bank holiday all over India except Hyderabad, Imphal)
October 25 – Durga Puja (Bank holiday in Gangtok)
October 26 – Durga Puja (bank holiday in Gangtok, Jammu, Srinagar)
October 27 – Durga Puja (Bank Holiday in Gangtok)

Apart from the eleven holidays in October, there are seven weekend holidays. In total, banks will be closed for 18 days in October 2023.

Banks in Karnataka have 10 days holiday in the month of October:
The month of October is full of festivals. If observed at the country level, the overall banks are 18 days off. But as far as Karnataka is concerned, banks have 10 days holiday in October. Five Sundays, two Saturdays and Gandhi Jayanti, Mahanavami, Vijaya Dashami together will get a total of ten days off.
