Heavy Rainfall Alert in these places for next five days

According to the weather department information, thunder, lightning and stormy winds are forecast in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh during April 19-20 and 22 and heavy rain is likely in Uttarakhand during April 19-24.

India weather: While it is already raining heavily in many parts of the northern part of India, moderate rain has started in some parts of the southern states including Karnataka. The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains with lightning and thunder in these parts for the next five days.

According to the weather department information, thunder, lightning and stormy winds are forecast in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh during April 19-20 and 22 and heavy rain is likely in Uttarakhand during April 19-24.

The IMD has predicted that there is a possibility of scattered rain with thunder and lightning over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and New Delhi from April 19 to 22. Sikkim will receive widespread heavy rain till April 21. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will experience isolated thunder and lightning on April 22.

From April 20 to 21, moderate rain with isolated thunder and lightning is expected in West Bengal. According to IMD, Kerala and Mahe are expected to experience moderate rain with isolated thunder and lightning from April 20 to 22. During the same period, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning storm in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema and Telangana.

Isolated rain with scattered thunder and lightning is expected over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal on April 20. Meanwhile, sunny weather will continue in most parts of coastal Karnataka. North interior Karnataka is forecast to receive rain till 21st, while south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep are expected to receive heavy rains on 20.

Chhattisgarh from April 20 to 22, Madhya Pradesh on April 20 and 21 with scattered rain with thunder and lightning. On Friday morning, it is known that many parts of Kerala, Mahe and southern hinterland have received rain.
