While not consistently “heavy rain,” there’s a possibility of isolated heavy spells.
Fishermen are advised to avoid venturing into the sea until at least July 31 due to squally weather and high winds (40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph).

For Bengaluru specifically, light to moderate rain is generally forecast for the next week, with IMD scientists noting a 25% rainfall deficit in July and expecting heavier rainfall from mid-August.
North Interior Karnataka (Bagalkot, Belagavi, Bidar, etc.):
Isolated light to moderate rain is likely over most districts in this region.
Strong surface winds (40-50 kmph) are also expected in some areas.
Monsoon Trough: The monsoon trough continues to influence the weather, contributing to the rainfall activity.
Wind Conditions: Sustained strong winds are a feature across all regions, especially near the coast and in interior parts.
While rainfall will continue, some reports suggest a slight reduction in the intensity of rainfall in districts like Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu compared to previous days. However, this doesn’t mean a complete cessation of rain.
