North Interior Karnataka region is also under a heavy rainfall alert with thunderstorms, lightning, and squall likely to continue throughout the period from August 14 to 19. Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms, lightning, and squall is predicted from August 14 to 17 in South Interior Karnataka.
