While the official and detailed subject-wise date sheet is expected to be released by the CBSE in November 2025, the board has announced the tentative schedule for the two phases:

Important Information about the New Exam System:
Twice-a-Year Exams: Starting in 2026, students will have the option to appear for the board exams twice a year.
Better Score Considered: The board will consider the better score of the two exams for the final result.
Purpose: The goal of this new system is to reduce the “high-stakes” nature of a single annual board exam and to provide students with a better opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge.
