The final official date sheet with the specific dates for each subject is expected to be released by CBSE in November 2025.

While the official and detailed subject-wise date sheet is expected to be released by the CBSE in November 2025, the board has announced the tentative schedule for the two phases:

Phase 1 (Mandatory): The exams are expected to start on February 17, 2026, and conclude by March 6, 2026.

Important Information about the New Exam System:

Twice-a-Year Exams: Starting in 2026, students will have the option to appear for the board exams twice a year.

Better Score Considered: The board will consider the better score of the two exams for the final result.

Purpose: The goal of this new system is to reduce the “high-stakes” nature of a single annual board exam and to provide students with a better opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge.
