Police investigating the shocking triple murder in Bengaluru’s KR Pura have claimed that the two arrested accused have admitted to their involvement during preliminary questioning. However, investigators are still trying to establish the exact reason behind the killings as both suspects have reportedly not provided a clear motive.

The accused, identified as Shwetha and her alleged partner Kenneth, were arrested in Puducherry after they were traced by the police following the murders. The duo was brought back for further investigation after their arrest.

According to the investigation, the incident took place on Monday at a flat in Sigehalli under the KR Pura police limits. Police allege that Shwetha, along with Kenneth, fatally stabbed her father Somasundar, mother Muthu Lakshmi and sister Supriya following an alleged family dispute.

During the initial round of interrogation, the two accused reportedly admitted that they had carried out the murders. Despite the alleged confession, investigators say the motive remains unclear, prompting the need for detailed custodial questioning.

To continue the investigation and gather additional evidence, the KR Pura police have secured police custody of both accused for fifteen days each. Officers are expected to question them further to uncover the sequence of events, recover additional evidence if required and determine the circumstances that led to the alleged crime.

The investigation is continuing, and police are expected to reveal more details after completing the custodial interrogation.
