Gold Rate Crosses Rs 15,000 Mark; Check Latest Rates Here
With this jump, the price of pure gold (24-karat) has crossed the Rs 15,000 per gram milestone. Silver prices have also increased by Rs 5 per gram.
Gold Rate: After a steady decline over the past couple of weeks, gold prices have been on a continuous upward trend for the last two to three days. Following a hike of over Rs 300 in the previous two days, gold prices rose by another Rs 225 on Monday.
With this jump, the price of pure gold (24-karat) has crossed the Rs 15,000 per gram milestone. Silver prices have also increased by Rs 5 per gram. Interestingly, gold and silver prices remain largely unchanged in international markets.
Currently, in India, 10 grams of 22-karat gold is priced at Rs 1,38,900, while 10 grams of 24-karat pure gold stands at Rs 1,51,530. The price of 100 grams of silver is Rs 26,500 in Bengaluru, though it has reached Rs 27,500 in parts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
