I Love RSS poster campaign has started in Karnataka

I Love RSS Poster Campaign: The “I LOVE RSS” poster campaign in Mandya is a direct public protest against the Congress government’s move, as initiated by Kharge’s letter. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteers in Mandya launched the campaign, shouting slogans, and pasting “I LOVE RSS” posters on vehicles and shops.

They specifically used slogans demanding a ban on “anti-national organizations” but not on “patriotic organizations,” which is a clear response to the Minister’s claim that RSS activities are against national unity.

The current debate in Karnataka revolves around a letter written by Minister Priyank Kharge to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, in which he requested a ban on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activities in government institutions and public premises across the state.

Kharge urged the CM to ban all RSS activities, including ‘shakhas’, ‘sanghiks’, or ‘baithaks’, in government and government-aided schools, public playgrounds, parks, temples under the Muzrai Department, sites under the Archaeology Department, and any other government premises.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reportedly directed the Chief Secretary to review the proposal and take “necessary action.” He also mentioned instructing a review of the action taken by the Tamil Nadu government regarding a ban on RSS activities in government spaces, citing it as a precedent.

BJP leaders, including State President B.Y. Vijayendra, slammed Kharge for his letter, calling it an “irresponsible move,” a “display of his foolishness,” and an attempt to “appease the Gandhi family” and eye the CM post.
