PM Kisan Yojana: Do this important work to get pending money

PM Kisan Yojana: If your Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) payment is pending, it is most likely due to an error in your bank account details, an issue with Aadhaar linkage, or a problem with e-KYC.ย PM Kisan Yojana: Do this important work to get pending money.

The government has made Aadhaar-based payments mandatory to ensure that the funds are transferred directly to the correct beneficiaries, which means these details must be accurate and properly linked.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to resolve these issues and ensure you receive your payment:

1. Check Your Beneficiary Status:

First, you need to identify the exact reason for the payment failure.

Visit the official PM Kisan portal: https://pmkisan.gov.in/

Go to the “Farmers Corner” section on the homepage.

Click on “Know Your Status.”

Enter your registration number and the captcha code.

The page will display your payment status, and if there is a pending payment, it will show the reason, such as “Payment Failed,” “Aadhaar number not seeded,” or “e-KYC not done.”

2. Resolve Aadhaar and Bank Account Issues:

Aadhaar-based payments require your Aadhaar number to be correctly linked to your bank account and mapped on the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) portal.

Steps to resolve this:

Check Aadhaar Seeding: Go to your bank branch or use the bank’s online banking portal to check if your Aadhaar number is seeded with your account.

Complete Aadhaar Seeding: If your Aadhaar is not linked, submit a request to your bank to link it to your account and map it to NPCI. You will need to provide a copy of your Aadhaar card.

Aadhaar Correction: If your Aadhaar details on the PM Kisan portal are incorrect, you can edit them by clicking on “Edit Aadhaar Failure Records” under the “Farmers Corner” on the website.

3. Complete e-KYC:

e-KYC is mandatory for all PM Kisan beneficiaries. If your e-KYC is not complete, your payment will be held.

How to complete e-KYC:

Online (OTP-based):

1. Go to the PM Kisan portal and click on “e-KYC.”

2. Enter your Aadhaar number and click “Search.”

3. Enter the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar and click “Get OTP.”

4. Enter the OTP to complete the process.

Biometric (at a CSC): Visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) with your Aadhaar card for biometric-based e-KYC.

Face Authentication (Mobile App): You can also use the PM Kisan Mobile App, which has a face authentication feature to complete e-KYC without an OTP or fingerprint.

4. Other Important Steps and Grievance Redressal:

Correct Bank Details: If you need to correct your bank account details, you must contact your local agricultural department or your bank. This is typically done through a correction module accessible to state/district-level officials.

Contact the Helpdesk: If the issues persist after you have corrected your details, you can contact the PM Kisan Helpdesk.

Helpline Number: 155261 or 011-24300606

AI Chatbot: The Kisan eMitra Chatbot on the PM Kisan portal is an AI-based tool that provides instant answers to common queries in multiple languages.

Once the errors are corrected and approved by the state authorities, your pending payments will be released with the next installment.
