The IMD has said that heavy rainfall is expected in most parts of the country on Thursday, April 10. According to the Meteorological Department, ‘Except Konkan, Goa and Maharashtra, most parts of the country are expected to receive heavy rainfall today.

The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Kerala. According to the Meteorological Department, a new heat wave may begin in Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan on April 14 and 15.

At the same time, the temperature in Delhi has crossed 40 degrees Celsius for three days. There is a possibility of rain on Thursday and Friday. Cloudy weather will continue in Kolkata, with a possibility of rain accompanied by lightning and thunder.

According to the Meteorological Department, hailstorm is expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today. Hail is also likely in Bihar and Jharkhand. Along with this, lightning is also likely in some areas of Bihar. The IMD has estimated that heat waves will occur for 5-6 days in Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand in April.

Heat waves are expected to occur in Delhi and northwest India for 2-3 days. Heat wave conditions may persist for 10-12 days between April and June in eastern India. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is likely in many districts on Thursday. Apart from this, heavy rain is forecast at some places. After this, heavy rain is likely on Friday.
