Vivo Y31T 5G May Launch With 7200mAh Battery and 50MP Camera

Vivo appears to be preparing another 5G smartphone for the Indian market, with the Y31T 5G expected to join the companys Y series. Ahead of the reported launch, details about its pricing, memory options and hardware have started circulating.

The biggest talking point is expected to be the battery. The Vivo Y31T 5G could pack a 7200mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge support. According to reported company testing, the large battery may provide up to 62 hours of music playback, 32 hours of video playback, 10.2 hours of navigation and 11.4 hours of gaming.

The leaked pricing suggests that Vivo could introduce the phone in three configurations. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version is reportedly priced at 25999 rupees. The 6GB RAM and 128GB variant could cost 29999 rupees, while the 6GB RAM and 256GB model may be priced at 34999 rupees.

The phone is also expected to focus on durability. Reports suggest an IP68 and IP69 rating, offering protection against dust and water. An underwater photography feature is also said to be included, with reported support for use at up to 1.5 metres underwater for 30 minutes under specified conditions.

For photography, the Y31T 5G could carry a 50MP primary rear camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front camera is expected to handle selfies and video calls.

On the front, the smartphone could feature a 6.75 inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The reported resolution is 1608 by 720 pixels, while brightness could reach 1250 nits in HBM mode. The device is expected to use the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset for everyday performance and 5G connectivity.

Software could be another highlight. The Vivo Y31T 5G is reportedly set to run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Several AI tools may also be included, such as AI Erase, AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist and AI Creation. These features are expected to help with photo editing, captions, transcription and content creation.

Vivo has not yet officially confirmed all of these details, so the reported price and specifications should be treated as unconfirmed until the company makes a formal announcement. If the leaks are accurate, the combination of a large battery, 5G connectivity and strong durability could make the Y31T 5G an interesting option in its segment.
