Nothing Phone 4b RCB Edition Teased Ahead of Launch With Strong Specs and Multiple Variants

Nothing is set to launch its Phone 4b in India on July 7, featuring multiple configurations, a special RCB edition, Snapdragon chipset and a refreshed design aimed at midrange buyers.

Nothing is preparing to expand its smartphone lineup with the upcoming launch of the Nothing Phone 4b in India. Scheduled to be unveiled on July 7 at 3:30 pm IST, the device will be introduced as the new entry level model in the Phone 4 series, replacing the previous generation Phone 4a. The handset will be available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart.

Ahead of the launch, the company has already teased a special RCB Edition of the Nothing Phone 4b, which is expected to be introduced alongside the standard variants. The teaser appeared on Instagram, generating interest among both cricket fans and tech enthusiasts. The special edition is likely to carry unique branding inspired by the RCB theme, making it a collector style release.

The design of the upcoming smartphone has also been partially revealed. It features a flat rear panel with a dual camera setup placed at the top left corner. The signature Glyph interface remains a key highlight, along with a dedicated red recording LED. On the front, the device is expected to include a hole punch display for the selfie camera, while the right side houses the power button and volume controls, and an additional button is placed on the left side.

In terms of performance, the Nothing Phone 4b is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, likely the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4. It may feature a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals for gaming and everyday use. Camera capabilities are expected to include a 50 megapixel primary rear sensor, designed to deliver sharp and detailed images.

Battery performance is also expected to be a strong point, with reports suggesting a 5400mAh unit powering the device. This should provide all day usage for most users, especially when combined with software optimisations from Nothing OS.

Leaks suggest that the smartphone may come in four RAM and storage configurations, although earlier reports indicated two main variants with 8GB RAM paired with 128GB and 256GB storage options. The company is also expected to introduce three colour options, including a recently teased blue variant, along with a possible special edition model.

The RCB Edition has already been confirmed through official teasers, and is expected to launch on the same day as the standard models. While full specifications are yet to be officially revealed, the combination of a Snapdragon processor, refreshed design and multiple variants suggests that the Nothing Phone 4b is aimed at strengthening the brand’s presence in the competitive midrange smartphone segment.
