Vivo S60 Series Launches With Massive 7200mAh Battery and Flagship Grade Features

Vivo has unveiled the S60 series featuring powerful processors large batteries advanced cameras premium displays and fast charging options aimed at users seeking performance and endurance.

Vivo has officially expanded its smartphone portfolio with the launch of the new Vivo S60 series. The lineup includes the Vivo S60 and the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition, both designed to deliver a premium experience through powerful hardware, advanced camera systems and exceptionally large batteries.

One of the standout features across the series is the massive 7200mAh battery. Vivo has paired this large battery with 90W fast charging support, allowing users to enjoy extended usage while minimizing charging time. The combination is expected to appeal to gamers, content creators and heavy smartphone users who prioritize battery endurance.

The Vivo S60 serves as the flagship model in the series. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor built on a 4nm architecture. The device is available with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, offering enough power for multitasking, gaming and demanding applications.

On the front, the smartphone features a 6.59 inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel supports over one billion colors and offers full DCI P3 color gamut coverage, promising vibrant visuals and smooth performance. Vivo has also included a 300Hz touch sampling rate for a more responsive user experience.

The camera setup is another major highlight of the Vivo S60. The device carries a triple rear camera system led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultra wide lens and a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera capable of delivering up to 100x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, Vivo has included a 50 megapixel front facing camera.

Durability has also received attention in the new model. The smartphone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering protection against dust and water exposure. Security features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for fast and secure unlocking.

The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition shares many of the same design and display features as its sibling but introduces a few notable differences. Instead of the Snapdragon chipset, this version is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Full Power processor, also built using a 4nm process. The phone supports up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Camera capabilities are slightly different on the Vitality Edition. While it retains a strong photography setup, it does not include the 50 megapixel periscope telephoto lens found on the standard Vivo S60. This change helps position the device as a more affordable alternative within the series while maintaining a premium overall experience.

Both smartphones run on Android 16 based OriginOS 6 and offer modern connectivity options including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB Type C port. These features ensure compatibility with the latest networks and accessories.

Vivo has introduced the S60 series in multiple color options inspired by seasonal themes. Sales are scheduled to begin from June 3 in the Chinese market. The standard Vivo S60 starts with a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the top model offers 16GB RAM paired with 512GB of storage. The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition is positioned at a lower price point, making it accessible to a wider range of users.

With high refresh rate AMOLED displays, large batteries, powerful processors and advanced camera systems, the Vivo S60 series enters the market as a strong contender in the premium smartphone segment. The combination of performance, battery life and imaging capabilities makes these devices attractive options for users seeking flagship level features in a stylish package.
