Vivo Y600 Turbo Leak Hints at Massive 9020mAh Battery and 165Hz Display

Vivo’s upcoming smartphone is expected to bring a huge battery, high refresh rate OLED display, and upgraded performance features as early leaks suggest a possible rebranded iQOO device with premium specifications

Vivo is reportedly preparing to launch a new smartphone called the Vivo Y600 Turbo, and early leaks suggest that the device could focus heavily on battery life and display performance. The phone is expected to target users who want long lasting usage combined with smooth visual experience.

According to information shared on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, the Vivo Y600 Turbo may launch in China on May 25, while reservations are expected to begin from May 21. The device is rumored to arrive in White and Pink color options, aiming to attract a younger audience looking for stylish design choices.

One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming smartphone could be its massive 9020mAh Blue Ocean battery. The device is also expected to support 90W wired fast charging, which may help reduce charging time despite the large battery capacity. This combination suggests a strong focus on endurance for heavy users.

The smartphone is also expected to feature a 6.83 inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and an ultra smooth 165Hz refresh rate. If confirmed, this would make it one of the few devices in its segment offering such a high refresh rate experience. The phone is also likely to run on Android 16 based OriginOS 6, providing the latest software features and interface improvements.

On the performance side, leaks suggest the inclusion of the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor. The device may also include 8GB or higher RAM options depending on the variant, aiming to deliver stable multitasking and gaming performance for everyday users.

Camera specifications appear modest but practical. The rear setup is expected to include a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 600 primary sensor along with a 2 megapixel secondary lens. On the front, a 16 megapixel selfie camera may handle video calls and self portraits with decent clarity.

Interestingly, reports suggest that the Vivo Y600 Turbo could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11, which was recently introduced in China. That device also features a 9020mAh battery and similar camera setup, strengthening the speculation that both smartphones share the same core hardware under different branding strategies.

If the leaks turn out to be accurate, the Vivo Y600 Turbo may focus less on flagship styling and more on practical usage, especially battery endurance and smooth display performance, making it appealing for users who prioritize long lasting smartphones over premium camera systems.
