HMD Thunder Pro Leak Suggests Premium Design and Powerful Camera Setup
The upcoming HMD Thunder Pro may feature a Pixel inspired camera design, large battery, OLED display, and advanced camera features aimed at users seeking stylish performance focused smartphones

HMD could soon expand its smartphone lineup with a new model called the HMD Thunder Pro, and early leaks have already created excitement among tech enthusiasts. The upcoming device is expected to introduce a fresh design language for the brand while offering several premium features in the midrange smartphone segment.
According to leaked details shared online, the HMD Thunder Pro may arrive with a rear camera layout that resembles Google Pixel smartphones. The phone reportedly features a horizontal camera island on the back panel, giving it a modern and premium appearance. This could become the first smartphone in HMD’s new Thunder series.
The leaked renders suggest the device may include a large 6.67 inch OLED display with Full HD Plus resolution support. Reports also indicate that the screen could offer a 90Hz refresh rate, which may provide smoother scrolling, gaming, and video viewing experience for users.
Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to run on the Unisoc T620 chipset. The processor may offer clock speeds up to 2.2GHz and could be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. This setup is likely aimed at delivering stable day to day performance for multitasking, entertainment, and casual gaming.
Camera performance appears to be one of the biggest highlights of the leaked smartphone. Reports suggest the HMD Thunder Pro may feature a 50 megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization support for improved photography and steadier videos. Alongside it, an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera is also expected to be included.
For selfie lovers and video calling users, the phone could offer a 50 megapixel front camera. If the leak turns out to be accurate, this may position the device strongly among users who prioritize camera quality in smartphones.
Battery life is another area where the device may stand out. The phone is rumored to pack a massive 6000mAh battery along with 20W wired fast charging support. Such a combination could help users comfortably get through an entire day of heavy usage without worrying about charging frequently.
Additional leaked features include NFC support, dual speakers, dual microphones, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which many users still prefer for wired audio devices. The smartphone may also come with an IP65 rating, offering resistance against dust and water splashes.
HMD has not officially confirmed the existence of the Thunder Pro yet. However, the leaked specifications and design details have already sparked discussions among smartphone followers who are eager to see how the company plans to compete in the increasingly crowded smartphone market.
