US-Israel-Iran War: 6 US Soldiers Killed in Kuwait

US-Israel-Iran War: As of March 5, 2026, the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran has escalated into a significant regional war, now entering its sixth day. This conflict, referred to by the U.S. military as Operation Epic Fury, was triggered by large-scale strikes against Iran starting on February 28.

US Casualties in Kuwait:

The report has confirmed that six U.S. Army Reserve soldiers were killed on March 1, 2024, during a drone attack at Port Shuaiba, Kuwait. All six soldiers were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa.

On Thursday, March 5, Iran launched its 19th wave of missile and drone strikes (Operation True Promise 4) against Israel. Air raid sirens were activated in Jerusalem and central Israel, though the IDF reports that many incoming threats are being intercepted.

The conflict began with the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, during the initial U.S.-Israeli strikes. A three-day funeral ceremony is currently underway in Tehran.

Tensions spiked further after a U.S. submarine sank an Iranian warship (the IRIS Dena) in the Indian Ocean, resulting in at least 87 Iranian fatalities.

Strikes have hit U.S. diplomatic and military facilities in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. In response, the U.S. has closed several embassies and urged Americans to leave the Middle East immediately.

Israel has expanded its operations to target Hezbollah in Lebanon, while the U.S. continues to strike Iranian missile launch sites to prevent further barrages. The United Nations Security Council remains deadlocked, and global oil markets are experiencing volatility due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
