URBAN has launched the ARC NOTE AI Meeting Smart Fitness Band in India, bringing a different approach to wearable technology. Instead of following the usual smartwatch design with a display and notifications, the new device focuses on conversation recording, AI based meeting assistance and wellness tracking.

The screen free wearable has been introduced at a price of Rs 6,999. Advance bookings have started on August 31, while regular sales are scheduled to begin on September 7, 2026. Customers who book the device in advance can receive an additional Rs 1,000 discount, bringing the effective price to Rs 5,999.

URBAN says the ARC NOTE has been designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, students and other users who spend significant time in meetings or conversations. The company is attempting to combine productivity tools with the functions normally associated with a fitness band.

AI Meeting Recorder Is The Main Feature

The biggest highlight of the ARC NOTE is its built in AI Meeting Recorder. Users can start recording by double clicking the band and stop it with a single press.

The band provides an indication when recording begins. According to URBAN, the device does not continuously listen to conversations in the background. Audio recording starts only when the user manually activates the recording feature.

A full charge can provide up to around 16 hours of recording, according to the company. This could be useful during extended meetings, discussions and other conversations where users may want to preserve important information for later reference.

Recordings Turn Into Searchable Information

ARC NOTE is not limited to storing audio. Its AI based features can convert recorded conversations into searchable transcripts, allowing users to find specific information without going through an entire recording again.

The device can also generate meeting summaries, helping users quickly review the key points from longer discussions. Translation support is included as well, which could be useful when conversations involve multiple languages.

Another productivity feature is AI generated mind maps. These can organize information from conversations in a more structured format and give users another way to review important ideas and discussion points.

Screen Free Design Focuses On Productivity

Unlike conventional fitness bands and smartwatches, ARC NOTE does not have a display. URBAN has instead focused on recording and AI functions, allowing users to operate the wearable without constantly checking a screen.

The screen free approach could appeal to people who prefer fewer distractions during meetings. Rather than checking notifications or looking at a display, users can start recording directly from the band when required.

The device also works as a fitness wearable, with 24 hour wellness tracking and activity monitoring included as part of the overall package.

URBAN has priced the ARC NOTE at Rs 6,999 in India. Advance bookings opened on August 31, and customers booking during this period can get a Rs 1,000 discount.

With the advance booking benefit, the effective price comes down to Rs 5,999. The device will officially go on sale from September 7, 2026.
