Oppo K15 Debuts With 8000mAh Battery, Dual 50MP Cameras and Dimensity 7360 Chip

Oppo has expanded its K15 lineup with a feature packed smartphone offering a large battery, AMOLED display, powerful chipset, advanced cooling system and flagship level cameras at a competitive price.

Oppo has officially introduced the new Oppo K15 in China, expanding its K15 smartphone lineup with a device that focuses on battery life, performance and camera capabilities. The latest model combines a large capacity battery, high refresh rate display and premium hardware, making it a strong option for users looking for a balanced smartphone experience.

The Oppo K15 is available in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It carries a price tag of CNY 2,299, which is approximately Rs 33,000. Buyers can choose between Gale Gray and Rapid White color options. The smartphone is currently available through Oppo’s official online store in China.

Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 octa core processor paired with the ARM Mali G615 GPU. The device comes with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. To maintain stable performance during demanding tasks, Oppo has equipped the phone with an active cooling fan and a vapor chamber cooling system.

One of the biggest highlights of the Oppo K15 is its massive 8000mAh battery, designed to deliver extended usage on a single charge. The smartphone also supports 80W wired fast charging, allowing users to recharge the battery much faster despite its large capacity.

For photography, the Oppo K15 features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor with autofocus, dual axis optical image stabilization and an f1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 50 megapixel ultrawide camera with an f2.2 aperture for capturing wider scenes. On the front, the smartphone houses a 50 megapixel autofocus selfie camera with an f2.0 aperture, making it suitable for detailed selfies and high quality video calls.

The smartphone sports a 6.59 inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display with a resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a 240Hz touch sampling rate and peak brightness of up to 1200 nits, delivering smooth visuals and improved outdoor visibility. Security is handled through an in display optical fingerprint scanner.

The Oppo K15 runs on Android 16 based ColorOS 16, offering the latest software experience. It also comes with an IP69 rating for protection against dust and water, adding durability for everyday use.

Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and a USB Type C port. The phone is also equipped with several sensors including a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, color temperature sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, electronic compass and an IR blaster.

In terms of design, the Oppo K15 measures 158.3mm in length, 75.13mm in width and 8.31mm in thickness while weighing around 206 grams. With its combination of premium specifications, powerful battery and advanced camera system, the Oppo K15 aims to offer a well rounded smartphone experience in the upper midrange segment.
