Huawei FreeBuds 7 Launched With AI Calling And 42 Hour Battery

Huawei has introduced its latest wireless earbuds, the FreeBuds 7, in the Chinese market. The new model puts a strong focus on clearer calls, noise reduction and artificial intelligence features, while also offering a lightweight design for everyday use.

One of the biggest talking points is Huawei’s new Audio AI Chip. The company has equipped the earbuds with a third generation Audio AI Chip that uses a Dual DSP architecture along with an NPU AI processor. Huawei says the new chip delivers twice the computing capability of the previous generation.

The earbuds are also designed to handle noisy surroundings during calls. Huawei claims the FreeBuds 7 can sample surrounding sound up to 400,000 times per second, while its noise processing latency is said to be as low as 8 microseconds.
